4 years ago @stoltzld do you have a lot of saved units, within teams? lyrgard set a limit for how much space ffbe equip can use, and it sounds like you have hit that limit.
best course of action is to delete old saved teams that you no longer need, then try saving again.
I was trying to save the following team and got the "An error occured while trying to save the team."

I tried removing each unit one by one until I only had the first one left, and still couldn't save.
