Using Hotot on multiple machines #310

I'd like to use Hotot with the same twitter account on multiple machines (desktop and laptop). Apparently, that's not possible with the same OAuth PIN – works fine on the first machine, never loads on the second. But registering a new PIN on the second machine destroys access for the first one (and also seems to delete all settings on the first one, which, frankly, is not very nice).

Is there a solution for this?

are you using the chrome extension version?

Ups, sorry – no. Hotot 0.9.8.4, Ubuntu 12.04.

I'm using chrome, windows QT, and ubuntu 11.10, hotot 0.9.8 and never had this issue. I think it's the 0.9.8.4 version. try 0.9.8.2 or lower. they made a lot of changes with 0.9.8.4

I really don't want to switch back to an older version, the PPA is very "hassle-free" on Ubuntu. :)

I meant until they'll fix it (or just to check if it's something local). I'm still using the older because I hate the visual effects. each to his own :-)

I have no problems with 0.9.8.7 on windows and ubuntu. 3 machines. time to close the issue??

I have been too busy to try this with 0.9.8.7 and most likely will not be able to for another two weeks or so.
