It not like I don't understand how it works, it's just difficult to get it to work right. I had to upload a picture four times to get it working:
1) Upload it right after exporting from Lightroom. Hotot says that some error happened, but did not tell me what exactly. Turns out the file cannot be over 2MB. Might be worth mentioning, right?
2) Shrunk the image and typed a message. Then went to the picture button to upload my pic (via twitter.com) that's just under 2MB. The result: a picture gets tweeted without the text that I typed.
3) Did the same thing, now via twitpic.com. The resut: nothing happens, the tweet is cleared, and only the url of the picture remains in the tweet. So I type it AGAIN, and sent the tweet. Result: nothing happens.
4) AARGH a fourth time is a charm, right? Went to upload to twitpic first, and THEN type my tweet before the picture url. That worked.

For pete's sake, please fix this behavior.
