Cannot log in: Oops, an authentication error occured! #558

Hi, I cannot log in to hotot, by any means. I get this error:

2013-5-19 14:46:51Oops, an authentication error occured! Can not authenticate you. Please try later.

I have deleted the token and retried, and I have also checked the timezone. It is true that originally the timezones did not match, but now I fixed them. Hotot still does not start. I also tried both timezones (the old and the new) in both Ubuntu and Twitter.

I ran hotot -d and there is no error message appearing

Have you tried to change your URL to the API 1.1 ? Go in Preferences > Advanced and change the Base API to https://api.twitter.com/1.1/

Ok. this worked!
