Any plans to open source the TC extension? #27

Hi! Big fan. I've been using TC since ~2017.

Any plans to open source the extension? I'd love to somehow incorporate the cats/other animals into other aspect of my life.

Thanks again for making the new-tab window a happy place

I might create one myself as I want to learn about Extensions. Of course I will open-source it!

@lzacharkow are you okay with it?

@alcpereira As long as you don't infringe any copyright (as in, the cat models are of course protected under copyright), there's no problem with creating a similar extension! :)

If you do so, please let me know! I'll also gladly help you, since I'd love to have an open source cats extension myself.

It seems from https://github.com/lzacharkow/tabby-cat-support/issues/3 that unfortunately this one is never gonna be opensource but I guess other people can make their own opensource extension.
