Session 10 Video Review – Aggregate Module @jessfroe Pop up 0:22 seconds: Open the learner guide at mtl.how vs. Should say “Open the learner see guide at mtl.how” 1:57 – would be ideal to have C, F, B, T defined individually throughout this video vs. just putting all of the words into one pop-up. This would remind the learner at key points along the video the definitions for C, F, B, and T as well as the fact that the key concepts are covered individually in this training video. 3:52 Better to move “Log in to your individual world in the Sim UI…” back to 3:30 when LZ is actually doing it and there is a brief pause while the screen is processing her log in 5:25 “Select Previous Experiment and Go” – there is no pop-up or directive to the learner to Click ‘Include text from this Expanded Outputs text fields?’

• In PSY module video the pop-up reads different. It would be great if they were all the same. See screenshot:

• 8:25 Pop-up “Sometimes outcomes get worse before better” this goes back to my comment at 1:57. It would help the learner if this box referred to what LZ is talking about i.e. “Complex system behavior over time may show worse before better results.” 17:55 Pop-up “? in Select Experiment shows a summary of experimental settings” – starting this pop up with a question mark is a bit unusual; it may look like an error to the learner since the ? is not in quotes or if they are not listening to the voice over. Edit could be “Click on ? in Select Experiment section to see summary of experimental settings” 22:02 pop-up “Enter your Hypothesis” -- there is a long segment of this video without a pop-up; it would be helpful to insert a reminder pop-up for the learner at about 20:30 or 21:00 that says “Note sliders and numbers you change to make saving easy” 24:36 pop-up “Compare Services in the current experiment or Compare Experiments” doesn’t make sense. Could be edited to read “Two control panel views: Compare Experiments or Compare Services” 32:54 pop-up “Save the revised experiment with the correct service proportions” is specific to this video and it calls attention to the facilitators correcting an error in the initial run relative to variables that were changed. The pop up does not reflect a tip or reminder or skill that we want learners to practice. I would take this out or put in the text that popped up in the Med Mgmt video (incorrectly) “To fix, Save & Reset, then Select that Experiment and reset Team Data to Off” Move pop-up at 33:25 to 34:20 -- “Choice in Display Patient Services determines which service shows in Results” is appearing while the Results Output screen is showing on the video. The learner won’t see the words “Display Patient Services” anywhere on the screen for reference and may be confused as to what we are referring. The pop-up should be pushed back to 34:20 when LZ actually goes over to the main page to make the switch from Intake to EBPsy.

9:25 pop-up “Expand Outputs; Select Experiments: Alternative 1 & Alternative 2” – two options: 1) delete “Expand Outputs” that’s already happened and if the learner is looking for it on the screen it will not be there. 2) move the pop-up back to 9:03 where LZ actually expands the Output section and clicks on Expand and leave it up longer to 9:12 15:00 or 17:40 it would be helpful to insert a reminder pop-up for the learner that says “To make saving easy, note the sliders and numbers you change” 16:15 pop-up – “Ctrl+Shift+Plus/Minus to adjust screen size and layout” should stay on the screen until LZ actually gives the verbal command at 16:23

Session 10 Video – Medication Management @jessfroe the pop-ups in this video were a bit crazy, may want to do a second review

4:34 pop-up “Open Experiments, Select Previous Experiment and Go” appears on screen when LZ and DL are talking, it needs to be pushed back to 6:45 when they are actually showing the Experiments section on screen 5:54 pop-up “Include text from this session in Expanded Outputs” appears on screen when LZ and DL are talking, it needs to be pushed back to 7:10 11:27 pop-up “Paste text into Our Question and edit for current experiment” appears on screen when LZ and DL are talking, it needs to be pushed to back to 15:15 15:18 pop-up “When you Select Previous Experiment, values adjust to reflect those numbers!” this should appear earlier at 6:50 when LZ actually shows this on screen 22:03 “Enter your Hypothesis” should be moved back to 21:10 when LZ has just finished entering the Hypothesis 24:00 it would be helpful to insert a reminder pop-up for the learner that says “To make saving easy, note the sliders and numbers you change” (especially given the length of the resulting file name in this video) 24:38 pop-up “Compare Services for this experiment or Compare Experiments” - isn’t correct for the Med Mgmt module and it appears in the wrong place. It should appear at 27:28. Could it be edited to read “Two control panel views: Compare Experiments or Compare Patient Cohorts” 26:39 pop-up “Bold text means team data is turned off” is technically correct but it isn’t capturing the main point and it appears in the wrong point in the video. It should appear at 28:00 and could read something like “Current Experiment Values bold text = variables in this experiment” 27:14 pop-up needed “Run and Save your Experiment” 29:31 pop-up “To fix, Save & Reset, then Select that Experiment and reset Team Data to Off” should be deleted – DL & LZ specifically mention team data is off in this experiment and it is in bold on the screen. Learner will be confused. 31:15 Delete pop-up “Run and Save the revised experiment” – this is not a revised experiment run, (only at 34:25 do LZ & DL discover an issue and document it Decisions). 35:10 Pop up appears “Review Results” – it should be moved back to 32:00 when the results are being reviewed (it should appear before “enter your findings” at 33:50) 34:24 pop-up “Choice under Display Patient Cohort determines which one shows in Results” should be edited and moved to anew time. LZ/DL never go back over to the model diagram to show that option. LZ shows on screen how to select the option in the Control Panel in the Results section. The pop up should read “Select Patient Cohorts to view specific results” It should appear at 30:29

• Question HQ – I noticed in the video the text in the Med Mgmt control panel says “Select Patients Cohorts” – shouldn’t this title say “Select Patient Cohort” or “Select Patient Cohorts”

Session 10 Video Review – Psychotherapy Management @jessfroe Since at the very beginning of the video DL starts to review the Done, you may want to move the pop up at 0:41 seconds “Open the learner guide at mtl.how” back to 0:28. Should say “Open the learner see guide at mtl.how” At 4:45 a blue bar with LZ’s name & affiliation appears and at 4:50 a blue bar appears with DL’s name & affiliation even though they are appearing on the screen together. In other videos, these bars appear when the video is focused on an individual speaker. It just seems weird here. 12:51 pop-up “Review Current Experiment Values” should read “Current Experiment Values are in bold” 18:11 pop-up “Review Sankey diagram” appears after LZ & DL have completed the Sankey review; suggest moving this earlier to 14:55

Session 10 Video Review – Suicide Prevention Module @jessfroe Pop up 0:30 seconds: Open the learner guide at mtl.how vs. Should say “Open the learner see guide at mtl.how” 5:25 pop-up “Updated label: now just Residential” is not correct – I suggest deleting it. If you keep it, the pop-up should say “Updated Label: GMH to Residential Rate” and should be moved to 5:18.

• The label in the video reads “GMH to Inpatient or Residential Rate”
• The current label in the Sim UI reads “GMH to Residential Rate”
• The pop-up appears after the label to which it is referring is already off the screen and the time LZ spends on the label at 5:18 is so short (2 seconds) the learner wouldn’t remember it.

20:51 to 21:12 - LZ & DL click save and name the file selecting GMH implement MBC and stepped care to PC/PCMHI but do not click on the Number and click “full” implementation for each variable. Not sure if you want to add a pop-up here that says something like “Click Number arrow to select full or partial implementation” 22:12 pop-up “Name your experiment, Save and Run” should be moved back to 21:20 closer to when it is actually done by LZ 31:44 may want to add a pop-up about “Click Reveal Mental Health Care Continuum to see relations between all systems”
