I have to navigate to chrome://extensions to manually reload the plugin then refresh the M1 dashboard for the plugin to work. Not that big of a deal but slightly annoying. I think this may be because of the errors listed on the extensions page. Here are my reproduction steps for this bug:
Navigate to M1 dashboard for the first time and notice the plugin is not working
Navigate to chrome://extensions and click the reload button on the plugin:
