Fix hnd #50

A fix for the problems experience by HND01. Currently running on HND01.

Try an insecure test to ndt.iupui.mlab1.hnd01.measurement-lab.org:3001 or a secure test to ndt.iupui.mlab1.hnd01.measurement-lab.org:3010
