Sadly I have no idea why this happens, just that it does. There appears to be recovery when this error occurs when running poclbm in DOS console, it's just noisy.

The pool you are using is not responding.

Well, I feel better about that now. For over two weeks I have been redoing my CentOS box thinking that there was something wrong with my build. So basically what I need to do is find a new Bitcoin pool to mine on to solve the issue as the issue is a server related issue and not a client side issue.
