Thanks, Zac. Before I merge this branch, can you (a) update the source field of the PKGBUILD to include the new file and (b) update the .SRCINFO?

Can do one better, my PR was merged in rosbag2 so patch file is no longer needed

Sorry, never finished this. I will build this and print SRCINFO to get this PR merged.

Successfully built on 6.1.55-1-MANJARO with GCC 13.2.1 and python 3.11.5 SRCINFO has been updated. Original .patch file that was talked about in first post is no longer required, upstream has commit that fixes. Please let me know if you need anything else.
