Herc's Adventures can't extract #34

Environment

jPSXdec version: jpsxdec_v1-04_rev3987_bin_src, and jpsxdec_v1-00_rev3921 Operating system: GNU/Linux Slackware64-14.2 Java runtime environment :

java version "15.0.1" 2020-10-20 Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 15.0.1+9-18) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 15.0.1+9-18, mixed mode, sharing)

PlayStation Game (if applicable)

Name: Herc's Adventures Region code (e.g. SLUS-1234): [U] [SLUS-00298]

(also tryed some european version, same result)

Description

What were you doing?: Trying to extract all or some content from "BIG.BIN" file.

What happened?: This game appears as tested from the list, but jpsxdec can't detect anything inside the "BIG.BIN". I add images, see.

Thanks for the details. What content are you looking for in the BIG.BIN file? Are there videos in the game that jPSXdec can't find?

Any kind of content. jpsxdec can't detect anything inside that file.

I could to extract music from Herc's Adventures (AUDIO1.XA and AUDIO2.XA files).

I think that all videos, and textures are inside BIG.BIN file. But this game appears as tests here: https://github.com/m35/jpsxdec/blob/readme/jpsxdec/PSXListOFGames.txt

From tha game's image (iso, bin, cue...), I tryed to extract as raw and normal. But same result for BIG.BIN file.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think that all videos, and textures are inside BIG.BIN file. But this game appears as tests here: https://github.com/m35/jpsxdec/blob/readme/jpsxdec/PSXListOFGames.txt

That game appears as untested there (although I don't even know what that list is supposed to mean... looks like an emulator compatibility list). It might use different video and texture formats that aren't supported by jpsxdec

Huh, it's true, this is "Tested games" list, but this game appears as untested.
