So, I basically have to re-install the dark theme whenever I close Whatsapp and reopen it.

What version are you running, both client and mod?

Got the same issue. Seems to be update related as it only happens when there is an update for WA Desktop.

I have been experiencing the same issue for a few weeks. Running v0.4.930.

This solves the problem

It goes back to normal Whatsapp theme even with the workaround... Yesterday had a lot of trouble setting it up, but it worked after doing the fix suggested... After turning PC off, it goes back to normal theme. 😢
