Unusual Throttle, Autopilot and VNAV performance After Takeoff #771

After departing from YSSY RWY16R on a heading of 155. The aircraft began switching automatically between THR REF and SPD. IN addition it continued to automatically toggle on/off the VNAV SPD reference on the PFD. A video is Attached:

looks like this has something todo with the 1500 altitude on the legs page - need a proper recreate to fix it.

I just had this happen to #metoo. And I know what triggered it in my case: I was just passing the T/D and the MCP SPD window was still open. As I closed the MCP SPD window, the issue stopped.
