Hi, It seems that the website http://bioen-compbio.bioen.illinois.edu/RACA/ is disabled. Could you please provide another way to get example data?

Hi there

I'm having trouble with unpacking the test (TA) dataset. Something in the .tgz file is halting tar with the following error:

TAdata/TAreads/100325_I358_FC6190UAAXX_L2_PHOlcpDAADUAAPE.single.gz.position tar: Skipping to next header

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated tar: Child returned status 1 tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Is the downloadable TA dataset ok? Thanks Crystal

Dear Crystal,

Sorry for the inconvenience. It looks like there is a problem in the original file. I tried to fix the file but failed to recover many read mapping files. Please redownload and use the file. You can't reproduce the assembly in the paper, but I think you can still use the file to see how to prepare input data.

Thanks, I saw that with the partial data. I just want to confirm, what softwares can we use to create: reliable_adjs.txt? .position files in TAReads?
