With a bit of late, I discover this promising project !
Being the owner of an HDR-AS100V, and as many other owners, I'm a bit frustrated by some aspects of this action cam that is not going to be updated anymore :'(

My main two objectives would be :
Making the GPS logs altitude.
Managing to set the interval photos to be taken at ~13MB resolution (instead of a mere 2-3 MB).
So far, I've managed to get the updater, extract the content of the firmware, and wandering inside.
It seems I've located the lib dealing with gps (toying with nm and strings tools).
But now I'm a bit stuck on how should I move onto the next step.
What would be the plan ?
I lack hexdump knowledge/methodology, so if you could provide me some hints/guidance, that would be fantastic !
