Sony A5100 is good performance to weight for mapping. However, the camera does not have a hotshoe, so it is unable to send cam message to UAV control board. Is it possible to use a phototransistor that picks up a Self-timer lamp LED flash when the camera takes a picture. The LED should only flash shutter opens.
