There is a wrong limitation for X-sync shutter speed in the sony's SW.
Camera can shoot w/o any problem with the manual flash up to 1/250 speed. (Even nex5 could shoot at the same speed)
But FW makes us to use HSS since 1/160+ if you are using the TTL flash.
It is wasting the flash' power, gives worse freezing of object, etc.
BTW, Full frame cameras has this limitation already set to 1/250. Look like it's a fake limitation for the APS-C.
