Sony a5100 'High ISO NR' (OFF) #441

Hi

The a5100 only has two options for ‘High ISO NR’: Low and Normal. In other words, there is no way to turn noise reduction completely off; an option I’d very much would like (the noise reduction is way too heavy even on lowest setting). On the a6000 (which is pretty much identical to the a5100) you actually have the following three options for ‘High ISO NR’: Low, Normal and OFF.

This above leads me to the following question: Is it possible to modify the a5100 to have ‘High ISO NR’ completely turned off, like on the a6000?

This would really transform the camera in a very positive way! :)

Hi, if you have access to an a6000 you could search for the key id for this and other features by extracting backup.bin before and after enabling the setting. I am hoping someone might respond to such a request to set AF w/ shutter (https://github.com/ma1co/OpenMemories-Tweak/issues/438).
