Need support for ILCE-7RM3 (Sony A7R iii) #124

Hello!

Can ILCE-7RM3 (Sony A7R iii) be supported? Is there some workaround in the meantime?

Thanks for responding! The A7Riii (ILCE-7RM3) is not listed in the OpenMemories supported cameras. With the A7Riii, unlike the A7Rii (ILCE-7RM2), Sony dropped the ability to load software from the Sony website. There is no Applications List in the A7Riii menu. The promotional materials for the A7Riii don't mention loading software, though the promotional materials for the A7Rii do. I presume that any software would need to be loaded by a firmware update process. I haven't been able to make any headway with any of the methods described for the OpenMemories-Tweak.

Do you think it should be possible to load OpenMemories-Tweak on the A7Riii nonetheless? If so I will keep at it until I make it work!

It's the same as A7R3, not supported at the moment.

Может кто подскажет, у меня схожая проблема не могу установить orenMemories tweak и русифицировать ILCE-7M3

Hey I have a Sony A7III as well. Have you guys tried yet? Even though the camera has no official software from Sony, the tweaks might be able to work. Any tries so far? Thanks in advance, guys!

Hi. If it is possible i can run any stuff to dump things from my a7iii, if it will allow to at least use tweaks.

a7m3 is different from previous models and as far as i know it may even be not possible to support it.
