v0.18 .dmg now opens with a Black window #309

v0.17 was working fine and still does when testing, but the 'new' v0.18 opens with a black screen. Background info: Re-programming a Sony A5000.

Reproducing issue on macOS 12.5 on a 2021 MacBook Pro 14-inch.

EDIT: Got around the issue using the console version of the app.
