Feature Request: USB Mode - Charging #483

Dear Developer,

I would like to bring to your attention the possibility of adding functionality to the "USB Mode - Charging" section. It would be extremely beneficial to implement the ability for the camera to continue recording video while connected to an external power source via a USB port, such as a power bank.

This feature would allow the camera to be used for extended recording sessions without interruptions, which is particularly relevant for events, long-term observations, or situations where continuous recording is necessary.

I would appreciate your consideration of this proposal and the potential integration of this improvement in upcoming software updates or hardware solutions.

My camera Sony A6000

Powering the camera via USB is not possible on a6000s due to hardware limitations. So this can never be implemented in software or at all in the camera.

You need to use dummy battery adapter using a USB power supply or power bank.
