5 years ago This is without any doubt a most fundamental issue which we should solve as soon as possible. The workgroup is missing a fundamental strategy and high level architecture to guide the work of the T&S workgroup. Questions like:
- What exactly do we mean with a MaaS Alliance API?
- How do the different initiatives which were identified thusfar allign to this MA API?
- What would the best way forward to define and promote the MA API.
These basic questions must be decided on first before we can make any possible advances in our work.
When reviewing the API there is the need for some fundamental clarification and specification. I think we need a global specification of concepts we are dealing with. The concepts should can then be used in the APIs, but currently the it is very difficult to understand the intention and motivation behind it.
As a starting point I think we define the following concepts and their relationships:
• User • Route • Product • TSP • Payment • MaaS Operator
