First impressions: Good job. I have not seen Shiffman's video so I am just going to pretend that you made it on your own... It is really great that you can interact with the program through the speed adjustement. It is a shame that the last row of sliders miss one slider. I find the slider dance interesting because of the connection that is made between computers/HTML and human movements which means that you do not see a bunch of sliders but what they constitute together.
Your sketch: First of all it is good that you have implemented both interactivity and objects into your program. It is also good that you make a lot of comments in your sketch! Especially in this case where the program is quite complicated.
Your code setup looks good and clean cut! I do not have any suggestions of how to make it better.
Your reflections: The screenshot that you have put in with the mountain looks really cool! I actually like that a bit more than the slider dance....
By objects from the DOM libary do you mean things such as sliders, button etc.?
I agree with the fact that it is very good that you do not have to create sliders and so on by yourself every time. I also noticed that objects from the DOM libary looks different on a Windows pc than on a Mac... Did you consider that in your process. In a way this could be a big frustration to the designer because he/she does not have full control over the look.
What are your thoughts in relation to the interview with Alexei Shulgin? Do you agree with the fact that form art is not as interesting as it was back in the 90's?
