Support for Carrier 38MPRA Mini-split #184

Do you know if the built-in Wifi in the following Carrier mini-split product is supported:

It's hard to tell without buying the unit if it's supported

It appears the matching indoor unit (40MPHA) contains the actual WiFi connectivity. Based on the manual the WiFi module is one of the following parts: KSAIF0101AAA, KSAIF0201AAA, KSAIF0301AAA, KSAIF0401AAA, KSAIF0501AAA, KSAIF0601AAA

Based on images of the WiFi modules, and the WiFi manuals I think it's very likely the unit is supported but I can't say for certain.

Gotcha -- Thank you very much for this good information. I looked at the FCC filings and it does indeed look to be the same exact dongle. I will probably end up picking one of these units up and report on my findings.

Hi, I bought Carrier Ac Conditionner which are equiped with WIFI dongle, i can control it by Carrier App, i'm trying to add it to my HA. Could you please explain me the method should i follow to do it? Thanks a lot
