[Feature Request] Specify what log file is used for information. #50

Base Request:

I think it would awesome if the ability to change what log file is read for the <applicationsArray> and the display in the Application itself.

My thought is that we could add this to the io.fti.SplashBuddy.plist configuration. As an individual specified key - like:

Example:

<key>logFile</key>
<string>/Library/Application Support/SplashBuddy/SBread.log</string>

Reasoning for FR:

My Leadership wants a tool that isn't "Dependent" on JAMF Pro. My idea would also allow people who don't have JAMF Pro the ability to use SB. (I'm biased, I like SB a lot.)

@DrTeej Not exactly what you asked for, but 2.0.0 will add "Insiders", which will add monitoring install.log and munki log instead of only Jamf.
