Web documentation #5

Web documentation would be a good idea, even if it's just copying the
README and reformatting for the Wiki. When I'm a potential user, I usually
read the documentation first to inspect for suitability.

If you'd like, I could reformat it for the Wiki. Maybe you have other
plans in mind? Let me know.

Excellent idea. I was actually going to start on that, so I put some text on
the
intro page that I was going to replace with links. However, I seem to have
gotten
distracted with a few other things in the meantime. I will definitely work on
it
more when I have time. Let's make this high priority, it would be good to get
some
documentation online. Also, what do you think about the README format? It
wouldn't
be terribly difficult to reformat that in a slightly more readable fashion.
Perhaps
it needs a TOC and then everything below that would get section, subsection,
etc.
numbers.

I should have a little time tomorrow evening to get started on this. I've also
kind
of made a narrow-use-case guide on my blog, I'll be posting that soon as well.

A couple of items:
 - I changed the section numbering to base one so I could use numbered lists. Let me
know if that's OK.
 - I'm not sure about the AVRDude bug mentioned in the README. Maybe the Kubuntu
version included the patch? I use the "make program" command with the AVRDude
5.10
from the general Ubuntu repository, and I have no problems.

Web docs have been up for quite some time. Synchronization may be an issue,
but it seems OK for the time being.
