What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Find a user using the help desk module
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In catalina.out, I see the following error:
2015-04-22 07:48:38, ERROR, util.Helper, {1exr,{HELP DESK UID}} error adding
objectclass 'pwmUser' to user cn={USER UID},o=company:
com.novell.ldapchai.exception.ChaiOperationException: [LDAP: error code 20 -
NDS error: duplicate value (-614)] [127.0.0.1/localhost.localdomain]
This doesn't happen for all users though. It appears that PWM is attempting to
add the objectclass pwmUser to a user who already has that class. I confirmed
that the group that has access to the Helpdesk module has rights to read and
modify objectclasses in the directory server.
Also, not long after that error is produced, I see that a password was reset on
the user account anyway, by the help desk user. So this doesn't prevent finding
or modifying accounts.
What version of PWM are you using?
1.7.1
What ldap directory and version are you using?
eDirectory 8.8 SP7
