TTYUSB Limitation #169

I know its not realted to chan-dongle but I am posting I am sure like me other 
run in to same problem.

My problem is no matter how many dongle I connect my laptop only limited to see 
5-8 when I type lsusb or dmesg| grep tty I can only see few of those.. if I 
unplug few and plug new one then it see it again however its got some sort of 
limit some where and I am not sure where to look... 

I am running asterisk as root.
using Ubuntu LTS 12.4

In my system uses 54 modems.

Not power I am positive I can make this work with my old laptop.  However when 
I try to use this on HP pro book 4XXX I get this issue.. Somewhere I guess its 
limiting this.. I did some digging I run in to this .. However this person 
using Centos

how much you want 100 1000 10000 ? 

question out of chan_dongle, please use linux kernel groups
