Sync podcasts

Some podcast apps can sync podcast feeds, using things like gpodder sync, for example:

• kasts,
• antennapod,
• Garmin Podcasts

This can use a Nextcloud backend or a gpodder account, it would be useful if we could use that to sync podcasts updates, whats been listened to, whats newly subscribed to, etc, between desktop, mobile, tablets, and other such devices that you might listen to podcasts on.

I really like the idea, but don't have free time to allocate to this issue.

Podbird had the base for a sync service: https://podbird.org/profile.php Michael Sheldon expressed his willing to give access to that, but I don't know how long ago :/
