BigBlueButton 0.8 will focus on HTML5 playback of slides + audio + transitions.

We want to provide creation of a video playback (Vorbis video and Theora audio) 
of the recorded session in a subsequent release.

We're adding playback of all activity within the presentation area (see 1191).

However, sometimes having a single video file of all activity in the 
presentation area, mixed with the desktop sharing when the presenter shares his 
or her desktop, would be easier to distribute (to YouTube and other content 
distribution networks).
