Status of this project ?

macq / spec2deb

This utility takes a rpm package.spec as input generating a series of debian-specific files like the package.dsc build descriptor and the debian.diff.gz / debian.tar.gz containing the control file and patches. The result is a directory that is ready for dpkg-source to build a *.deb.

Hello,

Everything is in the title... i'd like to know about the status of this project : maintained or not, project owner listening and answering or not... tool working on recent python language versions or not... compatible with latest rpm and debpkg versions or not...

I don't have the time / ambition to maintain the project. I developed changes to this project in the past and wanted to share this larger, which I have done through this project. Feel free to continue changing stuff :)

I have stopped providing rpm/deb packages. I hope that the project continues to be useful.
