I would like it if saplings were only planted by reforesting mobs if there are trees nearby
at the moment, when I'm in a biome with no trees, it starts filling up with oak trees, which doesn't make sense to me; where did the acorns to plant them come from?
this ends up looking even stranger when it's a sparsely populated biome, where there are, say, only a few spruce trees spread about- I guess the pigs are out of range of those spruce trees though, because they've been planting oak trees again, which looks really weird, because they're being planted out of nowhere in the wrong biome alongside the different original trees...
I'd much prefer it if instead of defaulting to oak saplings, the reforester animals simply didn't plant a sapling if there are no other nearby trees.
a config option to turn off oak trees infecting my worlds at least would be handy, which there doesn't seem to be (in 1.18 forge anyway)
Okay so preference is to have no reforest unless a valid tree is found in range.
I'll try to get this done in the near future.
What version of the mod are you on so I can do that version first?
