Not sure, if this also includes a contribution guideline, or whether that maybe is already part of the development guidelines. Anyway, I think we should have some github specific contribution guideline, e.g. like this: https://github.com/pyqtgraph/pyqtgraph/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
