Plotting Killed After 8-10 Plots #105

Open demadera opened 1 year ago

The plotting gets killed after awhile and I can't figure out why. There's plenty of space, plots are being moved, and it happens roughly in the same spot everytime.

Not enough RAM ?

NewSunSEO commented 1 year ago

I was having the same issue. I increased the ram I was using to 256GB & the plot process being "Killed" stopped

Other software using too muchRAM? What's your OS?

It's a dedicated Dell R720XD running Proxmox. One VM runs TrueNAS which uses minimal CPU / RAM. One VM runs the MadMax farmer which also uses minimal CPU / 32 GB RAM allocated to it & is running Ubuntu Desktop. The VM running the plotter has 256GB RAM, doesn't use a lot of CPU & is running Ubuntu Server. The problem was not enough RAM for the plotter VM. Increasing it to 256GB corrected the issue for me, which is what MadMax suggested to me in another thread.
