Gigahorse farmer crashing #196

Initial issue is that giga12 harvester node keeps crashing after few minutes starting. This keeps happening over and over. 2023-08-27T14:51:20.715 harvester harvester : INFO chia-blockchain version: 1.8.1 2023-08-27T14:59:05.428 daemon chia.daemon.server : INFO Unexpected message type. I then updated to giga14 and how it won't run at all. ./chia.bin start harvester chia_harvester: chia_harvester failed to start. Error: start failed 2023-08-28T02:44:17.764 daemon chia.daemon.server : INFO ConnectionClosed. Closing websocket with ['Unknown']

./chia.bin version 1.8.2.giga14

harvester HW: 12-bay no-name brand 1U rackmount server. Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz Total online memory: 8G Linux chia10 5.15.0-79-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jul 10 16:07:21 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Farmer node: Linux gigafarm 5.15.0-79-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jul 10 16:07:21 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux ESXi 7.0 U2 VM 12 cores, 8GB.

Overall environment is: Full-node: Windows 10 desktop GUI client. 8x Chia harvesters Chia plots pointing to the full-node. 1x Gigahorse Farmer node using same CA keys and. 2x Gigahorse harvesters Gigahorse plots pointing to the Gigahorse farmer node.

Windows 10 open port 8447 firewall? Incoming and outgoin TCP. I have 1 farmer and 2 x harvester and no problem all pc opened port hasverter is 8447 (2 x widnows datacenter 2022 and 1 x win 11)

There is no Windows involved in this, it's all on Ubuntu.

did you stop official daemon first via chia stop all -d ?

Yes, host has been rebooted, chia stop all -d was used. Software was also updated to version 14 from version 12, but the problem persists. I was able to NFS mount the luns over to the other host running version 12 and that is working. Something specific to the software installation on this single host. The 2 hosts have exactly the same OS version and currently are both running version 12. One works while the other crashes.
