microsoft defender detecting virus with giga24 and giga25 #245

Hi. I have several windows PCs running chia. Two of them are detecting virus, one with Win10 and other with Win11, (microsoft defender is detecting a virus). Giga23 was detecting nothing.

Yeah it's a random false positive

@OMeliante add an exclusion for the folder or process name.

Update your signatures. I initially added exclusions, but checking last night [with the latest signatures] the false positive was no more. Signatures are updated daily and crypto-related executables are often flagged. The latest XMRig was flagged last night. Nearly every lolminer release is flagged for several weeks until enough people report it as not a virus. Same was true when I was using gminer. Even nicehash triggers false positives as it downloads specific plug-ins.
