VRAM usage splitting feasible with multiple GPUs? #278

I don't know enough about the technicals to understand whether it would be even in theory impossible to split the VRAM usage between multiple GPUs. I understand it's not possible now with any software but I'm asking about whether it's feasible at all?

It would be a lot of work to implement and then suck performance wise unless you are running NVlink...

MAx, would it be correct to use two 8gb cards (dedicated to farming only) for farming c32 or I need to buy at least one 12gb card?

only 12G or higher cards will work for C32
