Gigahorse Compressed plots give twice and more less profit than uncompressed plots , Whats Issue? #305

I spend 2+ months to make compressed plots After few days of test rewards come to spacefarmers io pool twice less than i had with uncompressed plots , different only that now everything work in Ubuntu but before has been in Windows. Do this is issue?

A bit confused , i have same hard drives , same space , as well chia show 95% more space by compressed plots , plots C20 , C33 , but rewards dropped from 0.18 - 0.22 chia per day for uncompressed plots ,to maximum of 0.11-0.12 with gigahorse , i believe as i have twice more plots should be 0.40 chia per day but no , just twice less.

I fill mad about this , what can be the problem with? Whats going on there? Why profit drop not increase? As see in images partials all 100% valid,and more of them than before but no profit for some reason.

Have you heard of the halving? You cannot compare Dec 2023 to April 2024.

I was making 0.50 XCH/day and now 0.27 while I re-plot 1.3Pib from C18 to C29-31.

Wait until the filter change in June and your effort doubles since only 50% of the plots (compared to today) will pass filter.

Actually it's the opposite, twice as many will pass, but it wont change your earnings.

Thank you for your reply 8) Can anyone explain what the filter will come ? k32 v3 plots will active? whats filter will sort ? as i understand its not last filter will be?

It will basically double your GPU load, that's it. After 3 years it will double again, and so on.

But why will the plotfilter change? Is that really needed? What is the idea behind it? I have a lot of cuda gigahorse plots and it loads GPU quite good. If double so many plots will pass the filter, then I will need stronger GPU:-( Not good at todays chia price...

It's a hardfork from Chia Inc. to combat plot compression.

Dear Max do you plan to create larger compression like C45? for example , as i plot C20 after months start c33 for same disks , may be after weeks will be able to do C45? Not to replot all the time ...

They should combat low price and not the farmers. The developers have to make more advertisement, like Solana, and burn at least 50% of premine/prefarm and stop dumping of the price with selling of premine. I am so angry about it :-( Max, do you plan any compression plots with low GPU consumption? To combat that stupid ideas of developers?
