2 weeks ago y started to use madmax and in my comunter (i7 10700k (cooled by water), 32gb RAM 3200hz, 2tb nvme). Along aprox 10 days it goes soo fast (1 plot aprox every 2500sec). I don't know why from 3 days ago it started to go much slower (i didnt' change anything on settings). Now time per plot is aprox 240min ( aprox 14000 sec).

While it runed ok y saw the cpu was working almost all time on 100%, now swings between different percentages and almost never reaches 100%.

I tried to restart pc, reinstall chia, reinstall madmax but it's still slower.

any idea??

you checked your nvme drive health with a SMART tool ? Something like crystalDiskInfo on windows or smartctl on linux

Could simply be a dying SSD

madMAx43v3r commented 3 years ago

yeah that's a massive slowdown... must be some hardware dying

Algrpi commented 3 years ago

I used Crystaldiskinfo and It says its correct with 55% of status. I'll try Another nvme and i'll report t'he results

what's your result this time?

Algrpi commented 3 years ago

A few says ago I had to reinstall chia Network. Now i'm still sync to chia Network...I hope that tomorrow i'll try It on a new nvme disk. I'll post it

Well now It works fine again. With same nvme, and only changing threads from 12 to 13 and runs fine again. I don't know real issue...
