Plotting aborted #860

Open paoang opened 3 years ago

paoang commented 3 years ago

I always get the following errors or similar and the plotter aborts:

chia_plot: /home/paolo/chia-plotter/include/chia/bitfield_index.hpp:45: std::pair<long unsigned int, long unsigned int> bitfield_index::lookup(uint64_t, uint64t) const: Assertion `bitfield.get(pos) && bitfield_.get(pos + offset)' failed. ./madmax.sh: line 2: 3504 Aborted (core dumped) ./chia_plot -n 10 -r 8 -u 256 -t /media/paolo/P2/ here -d /media/paolo/EXOS2/ -c .... -f .....

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what(): thread failed with: input not sorted Aborted (core dumped)

What could be the cause and how can I solve this?

Thanks!

Unstable OverClock, Faulty Memory or XMP can cause this. Run a Memtest.

Also Check #775 , #732

Thanks for the tip! I'm not overclocking, but I ran a memtest and found a faulty RAM bank... Now i'm with only 2x16GB left. it looks as if it will take two times as much to complete a plot... Is this possible?

1- If you use ramdisk 110GB, set -v 8 (bucket 256)

2- Check temp 1, I had this problem on temp1 3sas HDD on raid0, HDDs are not same brand and size
