validation failed error after changing the value of select box #898

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.During edit when I made any change and try to submit the form it shows 
"validation failed" error.
2.but it make the changes in the table
3. This is a strnge problem I have ever come across.
I Need you help.. help me guys
