Mac trouble with creating a separate user and database for the app on psql #52

Can't type \i models/initialize_db.sql to run the ParticipateInRemoteDesign/models/initialize_db.sql file. Searched equivalent command for Mac terminal and found this. However, I dont know which values to put for host, port, user, and password.

We're using a postgres database; the stackoverflow forum linked is for MySQL.

Also, the readme file has a link to what default values to use. Were you able to set up an account with postgres?
