doc fixes for 1.0 release #56

I've just gone through and got this working on a current Rails 4.2 app - it looks like the current readme is calling the datetime type time, which used to be true, but seems to have changed in serializer.rb

Also, I'd suggest adding a warning at the top of the current readme similar to what they're doing with the MAINTENANCE, PLEASE READ message here rails-api/active_model_serializers, just a thought.

Let me know if there's anything I need to do here.
