The -c command requires an empty space after the command, which is very
easily missed. Can we have a version that will not need the empty space?

I think that in the current implementation, it is inevitable if you want to be
able
to execute commands like:

-c 'script.sh /home/somedir/' where the item from the list will be appended
like:

script.sh /home/somedir/somefilefromthelist

It should be better documented I guess.

As an alternative it now possible to use "$ITEM" as a placeholder for the item
position in your command.
