PPSS depends on bash and breaks on other shells

PPSS cannot be run with other shells such as ksh and dash. The reason is that 
it uses bash-specific 
code (basisms).

See requirements for a comment. I do want to make PPSS portable, but for now it 
will rely on Bash. First, I want 
to make it distributable.

I consider it impossible to create a version of ppss that does not rely on 
bash-specific code. Therefore, bash is a 
requirement.
