Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Toggle Nosleep on
2. Connect AC
3. Apple -> Sleep
4. Wait a while
5. Disconnect AC
6. Overheat!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The laptop woke up from sleep due to ACDetach and can't go into sleep again
because Nosleep is on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ML 1.8.1, 1.3.1

Hello, thanks for the issue report.
Could you also take a log when nosleep is disabled, so I can see when it goes
to sleep.

it seems this time after ACDetach wake, nosleepextension is setting state to 0
instead of 1 and mbp went into sleep quite quickly.

Edward,

I could not reproduce the issue but seems like I know the cause. Could you try
the same scenario with NoSleep 1.3.0

If it works, use it a while as a workaround. I will be on vacation for two
weeks, and after I'll try to fix it.

I see this problem with Mac OS X 10.7.5 and NoSleep 1.3.1. With NoSleep 1.3.0
there is no problem.
