I think this would be a very cool idea for a new module. I don't know if
it's implementable just by a JS-library, and I'm also not sure how stable
the spec is. But if it's possible, it would be great to have!

I think the time is right now to cover this topic. As html5 rushes into new 
browser
generations: ff3.5, safari4, next chrome and some started to implement dnd, this
would be great to have it in the older browsers as augmented standardization ;)
