When one does the zlib checkout, then run configure and make, some files are modified locally while they are commited : zlib.h and Makefile.
It would be better to have Makefile.in and ignore / remove from the repo the Makefile. Same for zlib.h, using zlib.h.in and removing / ignoring zlib.h would be better.
Not a big issue, just some clean-up.
