🐛 [BUG] - Weight unit not converted between apps #61

Open cfazilleau opened 11 months ago

cfazilleau commented 11 months ago

Description

I use a connected scale at home (using kg) and it synchronizes my weight with Google fit. In Blast, when it retrieves my weight from Google play, it doesn't convert it and enters it as lbs.

Reproduction steps

Have 2 different units between Google fit and Blast, and sync the apps

Screenshots

Blast (shows 80lbs): Screenshot_20231010-151036.png (The peak is when I entered the weight manually)

Logs

No response

OS

Android

@cfazilleau thanks for your feedback.

We'll take a look at the issue and see how best to manage the units. Not easy though...

And why not change Google Fit's units so that it shares lbs instead of kgs? or put your scale in lbs? That might help when sharing with the app. Have you considered this solution?

I have considered this workaround, unfortunately I am more familiar with kgs, but I am currently living in a foreign country, and my gym use lbs.

I really hope you can fix this issue, I had a lot of expectations when buying the premium subscription, but it is basically useless to me because of this issue
