If the Soundplane app gets out of sync with incoming USB data, the app must be stopped and restarted, or the Soundplane physically unplugged and plugged in, to resume operation.
A quick way to check is to run in the debugger and use the pause button. After a resume the console will display "RESYNCHING" but no resync happens.
